As a native New Yorker, I love dining at restaurants across NYC, from Staten Island to the Bronx baby! I also have a deep appreciation for the city’s restaurant culture, both past and present.
I was born and raised in the restaurant business. So, I know firsthand about the difficulties faced by restaurateurs.
Now, I am an attorney who practices in New York and advises many restaurant operators. As an attorney and former restaurateur, I fully appreciate the complexities of the NYC hospitality industry from both a legal and business standpoint.
Through this Blog, I will share some insight on how current and aspiring restaurateurs can keep their heads above water in this highly regulated industry.
P.S. That’s me as a kid at my family’s restaurant in Brooklyn. Back then, the waitstaff loved tossing me around — good times!
